Odoo hosting for partners and agencies
Host every client's Odoo in one place, on our cloud or on the client's own server. Work with Cloud Buddy on discount or commission terms, bring clients in from a partner portal, and give your team the access it needs and no more.
- Discount or commission terms
- A partner portal for your clients
- Our cloud or the client's own server
Every client's Odoo, one dashboard
The partner portal lists your clients and their projects, so you stop juggling servers, logins and spreadsheets.
A partner portal
Your clients, each client's projects with their status, plan and monthly amount, and your commission statements, on one page.
Clients invited by email
A client joins you from a one-time invitation link emailed to them, or by signing up through your referral link.
Hosting bought for them
Buy a plan for a client, or send them a payment link, then create the project from it: you and your client are both its admins.
The workflow your team knows
Development, staging on a neutralized copy of production, and production, built from GitHub for Odoo 14 to 20, Community or Enterprise.
Monthly reports
On the 1st, project admins get last month's uptime and incidents, deploys, backups and restore tests, and storage growth.
Clients stay in control
A client can remove your access to one project or to all of them, and every change is written to the project's audit log.
How the partner program works
Terms are agreed with each partner and set on your partner account: a discount on the price list, or a commission.
Talk to us
Tell us about your clients and how you invoice them. We set up your partner account, its terms and its users.
Discount or commission
With a discount, you buy hosting below the price list and invoice your client yourself. With a commission, the client pays us and you earn a share of each paid invoice.
Bring your clients
Share your referral link or invite clients by email. A visit from your link counts for 90 days, and so do a new client's own purchases.
Monthly statements
Commissions are worked out on each paid invoice, before tax, and listed in a monthly statement you can export as CSV. We approve it, then pay it.
Your people, with the right access
Partner accounts have owners and members, and organizations give a company one account with roles and shared billing.
Organizations and roles
Owners and admins reach every project of the organization, members only the projects they're added to, and billing only invoices.
Roles on each project
Add people to a project as admins, testers or developers, each with access to the stages that match the role.
Tokens kept to one workspace
An access token can be limited to one organization, so a CI job or the kv command-line tool can't reach anything else.
Two-factor and audit logs
Authenticator-app codes for password accounts, and a log of every action taken on each project.
Your name in front, their server if they want
Clients see who manages their Odoo, and those who want to keep their own server can.
Managed by your company
If you choose, your clients see “Managed by” your company, with your logo, next to Cloud Buddy in their dashboard header.
The client's own server
A server is linked with one command, or we install Odoo 17 to 20 on it. Server Pro is $5 per server per month.
Protected the same way
Monitoring and alerts, daily backups with weekly restore tests, and a security audit graded A to F, on the client's server too.
My Odoo and support plans
Clients who keep their own server can get a My Odoo view of status, uptime, backups and monthly reports, and a support plan with a set response time.
Ready for clients in the GCC
For partners whose clients work in Arabic and think in dirhams.
- The website, pricing and FAQ in Arabic, right to left
- Support in English and Arabic
- Approximate prices in UAE dirhams on the Arabic pricing page
- Company name, address and TRN in the client's billing details, with invoices as PDF
- Maintenance windows in the client's time zone, Asia/Dubai by default
- Odoo's UAE localization and Arabic interface, rehearsed on staging
- Projects run in our Asia region today; a UAE region is opening soon
Questions from partners
How does the Cloud Buddy partner program work?
Each partner works on terms agreed with us: a discount on the price list, where you buy hosting and invoice your client yourself, or a commission on each invoice your client pays us. Clients join you from your referral link or your email invitations, and you follow them in the partner portal.
How are partner commissions calculated and paid?
A commission is your agreed rate applied to each paid invoice, before tax, counted once per invoice; refunds and credit notes are deducted. Commissions are listed in a monthly statement you can export as CSV, which we approve and then pay. There are no automatic payouts.
Can I white-label Cloud Buddy for my clients?
In part. Your clients can see your company's name and logo as the partner managing their Odoo, next to Cloud Buddy, in their dashboard header. The product's own name, emails and address stay those of Cloud Buddy.
Can a client remove me as their partner?
Yes. From their Partner access page, a client can remove you from one project or from all of them. Your access ends, the attribution and commissions stop, and the project's audit log records it.
Is there a sign-up form for partners?
Not a self-service one: our team sets up each partner account and its terms. Write to us with the partnership topic on the contact page, or email msak670@gmail.com, and tell us about your clients.
Can I keep Odoo on my own VPS and still get managed backups?
Yes. Link the server with one command: Server Pro ($5 a month, or $24 a year) adds monitoring and alerts, daily backups with offsite copies and weekly restore tests, a security audit with guided fixes, live logs and a recorded web terminal. Your Odoo keeps running on your machine: nothing is migrated.
