Production is backed up every day and about three months of backups are kept. Each week the newest one is restored as a test.

When production stops answering, you get an email and a notification, and another one when it's back. Every incident is kept with its duration.

Each company's project is isolated from the others, sign-ins can require two-factor codes, and every action is written to an audit log.

Do we need technical staff to use Cloud Buddy?
Not for the hosting: we run the servers, backups, monitoring and upgrades. Setting up Odoo itself, its apps, users and accounting, is for your team or your Odoo partner, and we can recommend one.
How is my data backed up?
Production is backed up every day, and 7 daily, 4 weekly and 3 monthly backups are kept: about three months of history. The newest backup is restored as a test every week, and when offsite storage is configured, every backup is encrypted and copied to a second location. You can download any backup as a standard Odoo backup.
Can I move from Odoo.sh or another host?
Yes. Connect the same GitHub repository, then import your database into a staging or production branch: a backup zip from Odoo.sh or Odoo's database manager, or a PostgreSQL dump. Large uploads are sent in resumable chunks, and the database has to be on the same Odoo version as the project.
How are we billed for Cloud Buddy?
You pay by card, monthly or yearly, in US dollars excluding taxes. Add your company name, address and TRN in your billing details, and download each invoice as a PDF from the dashboard.
Where is my data hosted?
Your databases, files and backups are stored on the servers Cloud Buddy operates, with each project isolated from the others. When offsite backups are configured, encrypted copies are also kept with a storage provider in a second location. Projects run in our Asia region; a UAE region is opening soon for customers who need their data in the UAE.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time: the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and billing stops after it. Plans paid online are cancelled from the Billing page of the dashboard; otherwise write to msak670@gmail.com. Download a full backup first: it is a standard Odoo backup that restores anywhere.
