How the Enterprise licence works
Odoo Enterprise is licensed by Odoo S.A. Hosting and licensing are separate, so nothing about your subscription changes.

Questions about Odoo Enterprise
Is the Odoo Enterprise licence included?
No. Odoo Community is free and needs no licence; for Enterprise, you subscribe with Odoo S.A. and enter your subscription code inside Odoo once production is live. The Enterprise apps themselves are provided by Cloud Buddy, and you never share your subscription code with us.
Are Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise both supported?
Yes, both editions are supported on every version from 14 to 20. Odoo Community is free and needs no licence. For Odoo Enterprise, the Enterprise apps are provided by the platform, but the licence is not included: you buy the subscription from Odoo S.A. and enter its code inside Odoo.
Can I host Odoo Enterprise on my own server?
Yes. Choose Enterprise when you install Odoo 17 to 20 on your server and the Enterprise code is installed for you; you still need your own Odoo Enterprise subscription from Odoo S.A., whose code you enter inside Odoo. Enterprise also runs on our cloud on every version from 14 to 20.
Which Odoo versions are supported?
Odoo 14.0 to 20.0 (versions 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20), in Community or Enterprise edition, built from the official Odoo images. When your version gets close to its end of support, the upgrade assistant lets you test the upgrade on staging before touching production.
How much does Odoo hosting cost in the UAE?
On Cloud Buddy, a hosted Odoo costs $72 per worker per month plus $0.25 per GB of storage, or less when billed yearly, and a staging environment is $18 per month, all billed in USD. Keeping Odoo on your own server costs $5 per server per month with Server Pro, plus $150 once per Odoo install. Odoo Enterprise licences are extra, and prices exclude taxes.
