Odoo.sh pricing explained: workers, storage, staging and the licence
How Odoo.sh pricing works in 2026: the price per worker, per GB and per staging environment, yearly billing, the Enterprise licence on top, and an example.

Odoo.sh is priced differently from most hosting. There are no plans called Small, Medium and Large: you pay for three units of capacity, and for an Odoo Enterprise subscription on top. Once you know the units, an Odoo.sh bill is easy to estimate, and easy to compare with other ways of hosting Odoo.
This guide uses Odoo.sh's published prices as we checked them on 5 October 2026 at odoo.sh/pricing, in US dollars before taxes. Prices change, so check that page before you commit.
Odoo and Odoo.sh are trademarks of Odoo S.A. Cloud Buddy is an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by Odoo S.A.
The three units
An Odoo.sh project is billed every month for the capacity of its production environment, plus its staging environments:
| Unit | Billed monthly | Billed yearly (per month) |
|---|---|---|
| Worker | $72 | $57.60 |
| Storage, per GB | $0.25 | $0.20 |
| Staging environment | $18 | $14.40 |
Workers are the Odoo processes that answer requests on production; each one handles one request at a time, so more workers let more people use Odoo at once. Storage is the size of the production database plus its files (attachments, images, documents). Staging environments are the branches where you test on a copy of production before releasing.
What the price includes
The units buy capacity; the features come with every project. Odoo.sh lists as included: its build system and the GitHub integration, the web shell, SSH and the online editor, monitoring, DNS and outgoing email, storage replication, backups kept on three servers, unlimited accounts for your team and unlimited development branches. Development branches are therefore not billed one by one, however many your developers open.
What is not included is everything outside hosting: the Enterprise subscription (next section), implementation and customisation work, and support from an Odoo partner if you use one.
Yearly billing
Paying for a year in advance lowers every unit price by 20%: $57.60 per worker, $0.20 per GB and $14.40 per staging environment a month. It's worth it once your setup is stable. While you're still finding the right number of workers, monthly billing keeps you flexible.
The licence on top
The hosting price is only part of the bill. Odoo.sh only runs Odoo Enterprise, so every Odoo.sh project needs an Odoo Enterprise subscription, which Odoo prices separately, usually per user and per month, and which varies by country and plan. Odoo's own pricing page notes that the cost of Odoo.sh hosting is not included in the subscription, so budget for both lines.
If you run Odoo Community, Odoo.sh is not an option at any price: Community needs another host. Our Odoo Community hosting page covers that case.
A worked example
Take a typical small company: 2 workers, 20 GB of storage and 1 staging environment.
| Monthly billing | Yearly billing | |
|---|---|---|
| 2 workers | $144.00 | $115.20 |
| 20 GB of storage | $5.00 | $4.00 |
| 1 staging environment | $18.00 | $14.40 |
| Hosting per month | $167.00 | $133.60 |
Add the Enterprise subscription for your users, and taxes. Storage is the line that moves on its own: as your database and attachments grow, so does the bill, a few dollars at a time.
How to estimate your own bill
- Workers: Odoo's own deployment guide estimates that one worker serves about 6 concurrent users, meaning people using Odoo at the same moment, not everyone with a login. Most small teams start with 1 or 2. Our guide on how many Odoo workers you need goes further.
- Storage: take your current database and filestore size and add room for a year of growth. If you're migrating, the size of a full backup is a fair first estimate.
- Staging: one staging environment is enough for most teams; agencies testing several changes in parallel use more.
- Licence: count the users who need Enterprise apps and price the subscription with Odoo or your Odoo partner.
Limits and dedicated hosting
The shared offer covers projects up to a certain size; when we checked the page on 5 October 2026 it listed 1 to 8 workers, with more available on dedicated hosting. Dedicated hosting adds a flat monthly fee on top of the units, so it only makes sense for large deployments. If you are close to the limit, ask Odoo for a quote before planning around it.
How Cloud Buddy compares
Cloud Buddy is billed with the same three units, on the same kind of GitHub branch workflow: development, staging on a neutralized copy of production, and production. Our current prices are $72 per worker, $0.25 per GB and $18 per staging environment a month ($57.60, $0.20 and $14.40 billed yearly). Next to Odoo.sh's published prices: Per unit, our hosted prices are the same as Odoo.sh's published prices: $72 per worker, $0.25 per GB of storage and $18 per staging environment a month (Odoo.sh prices from odoo.sh/pricing, checked 5 October 2026).
The larger differences are not in the unit prices:
- Community is welcome. You can host Odoo Community, with no Enterprise subscription at all, or Enterprise with your own subscription.
- Your own server is an option. If you already run a VPS, Server Pro manages it for $5 a month per server (monitoring, daily backups with weekly restore tests, a security audit and a web terminal), and we can install Odoo on it.
- Everything is included in every plan: backups, monitoring, the shell, SSH, custom domains with HTTPS and the mail catcher.
You can try any combination in the pricing configurator, and our Odoo.sh alternative page compares the workflows feature by feature. Moving over is covered step by step in How to migrate from Odoo.sh.
The short version
- Odoo.sh charges per worker, per GB of storage and per staging environment, 20% less on yearly billing.
- An Odoo Enterprise subscription is required on top, priced separately.
- A small setup (2 workers, 20 GB, 1 staging) costs $167 a month in hosting, or $133.60 a month billed yearly.
- Community projects can't run on Odoo.sh; they need another host.
